Our Journey
On October 18, 2017, our home caught fire. My young daughters and I escaped, but many of our cats and kittens did not. They saved us.
We had called our farm "The Home for Wayward Animals." Then, subdivisions began replacing the farms where the wildlife had grazed and slept. My eldest daughter suggested we rename our home "New Beginnings Farm." It was not only a new beginning for us, but a new beginning for the wildlife in search of a safe place to call their own.
